General terms and conditions

KoorTickets processes personal data when performing our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. We make a distinction between data of an Organiser (party that organises an Event and starts ticket sales) and of a Visitor (consumer who buys a product). For an explanation of these terms, see also our general terms and conditions.

From the Visitor's perspective, the Organiser is the controlling party within the meaning of the AVG, KoorTickets is the processor that carries out services on behalf of the Organiser. The Organiser is primarily responsible and the point of contact for the manner in which the personal data of the Visitors is handled. Personal data of the Visitor that we process:

- Name

- e-mail

- Additional information that is explicitly requested by the Organiser

Bank account numbers (IBAN) of Visitors who pay with SEPA are not accessible to KoorTickets and are therefore not processed or stored by KoorTickets. This does not apply to iDEAL transactions carried out on behalf of KoorTickets by Payment Service Provider Pay.nl. The details of these iDEAL transactions are stored at Pay.nl .

KoorTickets is the controlling party for the personal data of the Organiser. Personal data of the Organiser that we process:

- Name

- e-mail

- Bank account details, where necessary

We store the data at the web hosting company Hostinger.com .

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at privacy@KoorTickets.nl so that we can delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

KoorTickets processes personal data of Visitors for the following purposes:

- Processing an order

- Contacting a customer if this is necessary to provide our services

- Deliver goods and services

KoorTickets processes personal data of Organisers for the following purposes:

- Providing and handling a ticket service and/or advertising

- Contacting an Organiser if this is necessary to provide our services

- Make payouts

- Deliver goods and services

The legitimate basis for processing abovementioned personal data is that this data is necessary for the execution of the agreement between the Visitor and the Organiser.

Automated decision making

KoorTickets does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems, without a human being involved (for example an employee or volunteer of KoorTickets).

How long we store personal data

KoorTickets does not store personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (FeeCategorys) of personal data:

Data of Visitors: a maximum of 1 year after the expiry of the relevant Event for the purpose of handling and providing information to the Organiser.

Data of Organisers: maximum 10 years after expiry of their last Event for handling relevant financial administration.

Sharing personal data with third parties

KoorTickets does not sell or provide personal data to third parties. Personal data will only be left outside the management of KoorTickets if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with an Organiser or a Visitor, or to comply with a legal obligation. Any company that processes personal data on our behalf are subject to at least the same level of security and confidentiality of this data.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

KoorTickets only uses technical and functional cookies as well as analytical cookies that do not infringe on privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the computer, tablet or smartphone that visits our website during the first visit to our website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember preference settings. We can also optimize our website with this. It is possible to set the internet browser so that cookies are not accepted, but unfortunately the KoorTickets site (including the Ticketshop) will then not operate as intended. It is also possible to delete the information previously stored via the browser settings.

View, adjust or delete data

Both Visitors and Organisers have the right to view, correct or delete relevant personal data. In addition, there is the right to withdraw any consent to data processing or to object to the processing of relevant personal data, as well as the right to data portability. A Visitor can contact the Organiser as the controlling party for his or her data.

An Organiser can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of relevant personal data or request for withdrawal of consent or objection to the processing of this personal data to privacy@KoorTickets.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by the Organiser, we ask that you send a copy of proof of identity with the request. Make sure you black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Burger Service Nummer (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect privacy. We will respond to such requests as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

How we protect personal data

KoorTickets takes the protection of personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. For example, an Organizer's IBAN account number (if specified) will never appear on a KoorTickets web page - not even on pages that can only be viewed by the Organiser. If you have the impression that personal data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at privacy@KoorTickets.nl.
